Exactly what this website stores on your device, what it does not, and how to change your mind.

It stores a single value in your browser to remember the choice you made in the cookie banner, and that value never leaves your device. The only third party your browser contacts is Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces.
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, which is then sent back to that website on later visits. Related technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do similar jobs, and UK law treats them the same way. Where this policy says “cookie”, it covers all of them.
Strictly necessary storage does not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because without it the choice you made could not be honoured.
None are set at the date of this policy. Choosing “Accept all” in the banner currently changes nothing about what is stored — it records a permission for the future, and nothing is loaded on the strength of it until this policy says otherwise.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore requests files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request. Google states that it does not set cookies on these requests, but the request itself is a transfer of data to a third party and we would rather say so than leave it out.
If you would prefer the site made no third-party requests at all, the fonts can be served from this same domain. Write to us and we will tell you the current position.
If we introduce analytics or advertising measurement, then before any such script loads we will: update this policy with the name, purpose and lifetime of every cookie involved; keep those scripts behind the banner so they run only where you have accepted; and re-ask for your choice rather than assume the old one covers it.
You can reopen the banner at any time from the cookie settings link, which sits in the footer of every page on this site. Whatever you pick replaces the stored value immediately.
Clearing this site’s data in your browser also clears the stored choice, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and local storage, either for all sites or for this one. The controls sit under privacy or site settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Blocking storage for this site will not break it — the banner will simply ask again each visit, because it has nowhere to record your answer.
